testimony of sister shoba on november 24th 2024

"My soul glorifies the Lord!" We are filled with joy as we celebrate the incredible ways God is working in and through us to bless the children and people of God!

We are so grateful to all of our amazing benefactors! Thanks for your generous support; we are able to provide top-notch education, social work, and healing ministry to people near and far. We're reaching out to the poor, marginalized, and vulnerable in our society, and we couldn't do it without you! With hearts full of gratitude, we thank God and bow our heads in prayer, thinking of you, your families, and friends.

Coming to our next mission, as all of us eagerly waiting to know is "Alambana Children's Home! As some of you are already aware, and a few of you have even had the chance to visit Prathipadu. We started this mission years ago exclusively for the purpose of caring for the children of leprosy patients. As the number of children in need decreased, we expanded our services to include the children of HIV/AIDS, both affected and infected boys and girls. And now, we are delighted to be able to offer our support to the children of migrant workers as well! We are proud to say that our school offers a value based primary education for both boys and girls, from 1st to 5th standard! Now that the school is closed, all children are going to the Government School, which is just a short, one-kilometer walk away from the home. They love going to school on foot! We are currently blessed to have 18 incredible girls between

the ages of 5 and 16! A few years ago, we made the exciting decision to stop taking boys because the government was involved in recruiting children to our orphanage.

We have to enroll the full details of these children online website and register our Orphanage! The local District Collector is in charge of all the orphanages. They do come for sudden inspections to check whether we are maintaining records and the overall well-being of the children. We are so grateful to our local donors and our Congregation for making it possible for us to continue our mission without any financial support from the Government. We are absolutely thrilled to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Association of Sr. Ann Francoise for their incredibly generous contribution towards Prathipadu Mission, especially for the children of Alambana.

It's so sad to see how the changes in our ecosystem are affecting both humans and animal habitat. Our dear sisters are facing the effects of an imbalance in the ecosystem in our community. Oh my, the monkeys have caused so much damage to our buildings and fields! We would love to be able to cultivate our land, but we just can't do it. It's so sad to see all the money that's being invested in repairs caused by the monkeys. It's not just the current wires and pipelines, but also the plantations.

We're staying positive, live in hope and await better days to come, with our trust in the Lord. It's not just our mission, but God's mission, His kingdom and the mission of the Church.

I am so grateful to everyone present here, for your kind listening and generous contributions to the church especially to the family of Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy, Indian Mission. We're so thankful for your support! Thank you so much! God bless you all, My dear friends!
